It’s at the top of ON/SET Alfama, mesmerized with the view, that you will find the studio O Rio. With an outstanding view over the roofs of Lisbon and a terrace that invites you to contemplate the Tagus river, it is this the inspiration for the decoration and design of this studio.
It also finds inspiration in a movie of the golden era of the Portuguese Cinema, “Aldeia da Roupa Branca”. In this movie, we find references to the everyday life and customs of an older time, the rivalries and passions of Lisbon, accurately portrayed by having as background the washerwomen that used to wash the clothes on the river while singing traditional songs.
These songs and these images are still very present in the current days, as well as in the decorations of this studio.
With a maximum capacity for 2 people, this is one of the widest studios in the building, which also has a mezzanine.
